Day 2 at SXSW brought the LX GOODS Crew to our showcase with New Granada and Macbeth Shoes! It was a bright and early day for us (we woke up at 11am). We loaded up all 1,000 gift bags and headed down to Aussie’s which was a nice venue right on the Colorado River in downtown Austin, our first glimpse at the beauty of the city.

It was a slow start but sure enough a crowd start to trickle in to the showcase and caught some great performances by: Today the Moon Tomorrow the Stars, Le Blorr, New Roman Times, Sleepy Vikings, Deleted Scenes, Yukon Blonde, and Ringo Deathstarr. Part of the awesomeness of SXSW is that you can see the most amazing bands play feet in front of you, and today was one of these days. All the bands gave an equally impressive performance (all very different bands in their own right) and the overall vibe was a chill day party with some really great music.

To make the day an A+ for the performers our Friends at Macbeth gave each of the artists a fresh and free pair of kicks… a very welcome gift after days of trekking around Austin (we could hardly walk for a good day ourselves after we wrapped up at SXSW).

After part 1 of our day was complete, we made our way across town to begin part 2 of our day of gifting… the Audible Treats Official 2012 Hip Hop showcase featuring Talib Kweli, Souls of Mischief, Moe Green, THEESatisfaction and more….
